KFC Colonel's Scholars: Available to graduating high school seniors with a 2.75 GPA; enroll in a public college; plan to pursue a bachelor's degree; be a U.S. citiezn or permanent resident; demonstrate financial need; Award: $20,000; Due: February 10, 2010; Apply online at www.kfcscholars.org

U.S. Bank: Available to high school seniors and college undergraduates; Award: Forty $1000 scholarships awarded in a random drawing; No essays; Apply online: usbank.com/studentloans; Due: March 2010

Gates Millennium Scholars: Available to any citizen, national or legal permanent resident of the United States. Have attained a cumulative high school GPA of 3.3. http://www.gmsp.org/Nominees who meet all of the eligiblity requirements and who are selected as GMS candidates must include a Federal Pell Grant as part as their financial aid package for the 2010 academic year. Form will be available at  www.fafsa.ed.gov.  Deadline: Febrauy 15, 2010

Strokes Educational Scholarship Program: This program has reimbursement for required textbooks up to $1,500 per year. they have year- round salary while attending college and lots of more. You must be a U.S. citizen, must be eligible to be granted a security clearance, must be a high school senior, must  achieve a minimum SAT/College Board score of 1600 Apply online www.NSA.gov/Careers Applications will be accepted between September 1st and November 30th of each year.

Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program: Available for high school seniors. Grant of $1,000.  Requirments of a full-time high school currently enrolled at a high school within a Comcast Community. Student grade pint average of 2.8 or higher. Strong commitment to and involvement in community service. If a student does not have access to a computer, email Comcast@applyists.com for a hard copy form.
