Seniors, the UC and CSU application window is now open. You must submit your online college application by November 30. Because of the current budget situation, it is highly recommended that you submit your application as early as possible. You may submit your UC application on November 1.
11/12/09 – 11/20/09
11th and 12th grade students who wish to participate in the ASVAB career exploration program need to sign up in the career center, room E10. The test is free and will be given on December 3. Seating is limited, so sign up now to reserve a space. Any student interested in joining the military is strongly advised to take this test.
11/16/09 – 11/20/09
The second blood drive of the year will be held on Thursday, December 3rd, 2009.
If you gave blood during the last blood drive, you have already been scheduled for the same time during this blood drive. For those of you who didn’t sign up last time or were not able to give blood please look for JRTOC cadets in the castle during first and second lunch.
Remember you must be at least 16 years old by December 3rd in order to donate and cannot have had a tattoo within the last 12 months.
Anyone who has questions or needs to turn in a permission slip…you may do so in Room M1 today!

The Rio Linda Knights face Bella Vista at home for the first round of football playoffs. Avoid lines and purchase your tickets for Friday night's game in the parent center. $5.00 for students and $9.00 for adults.

Support the water polo and swim teams. Come out to Straw Hat Pizza at 4441 East Commerce Way (South of Del Paso Rd, next to I5) on Thursday, November 19th! Straw Hat will generously donate 20% of your purchase to the RLHS Water Polo and Swim Team just by mentioning Rio Linda Aquatics!

Attention all students, Friday will be the Renaissance Knights Heroes Rally during 2nd period which is a rally day schedule. You must have at least a 2.0 GPA from spring semester in order to attend the rally. Freshman gpa will be determined by quarter grades. You must report to second period and wait to be released to the rally. Only students with tickets will be allowed into the rally. 3.0 GPA and up will report to cafeteria when called out. 2.0 students need to report directly to large gym. See Mrs. Wilderman if you have any questions.
