ALL UNVERIFIED ABSENCES WILL BE CONSIDERED UNEXCUSED OR A CUT.
If it is necessary to have any corrections made to attendance, whether or not it was a computer, or instructor's error, you must do so within 30 days.
If you do not do so within the 30-day span, the attendance cannot be changed. Once the District ADA Report has been completed, the attendance office CANNOT make ANY changes.
EXCUSED ABSENCE: illness, medical appointment, death in the immediate family, funeral services [1 day in state, 3 days out of state], class field trip.
UNEXCUSED ABSENCE: personal, oversleeping, job, visiting relatives, vacation, needed at home, etc. [classified by state as unexcused]
TRUANCY: absence without parent knowledge or prior consent, habitual unverified absences.
